Marketing & Business Development Officer- Professional Services

The Opportunity

Are you an organised, high-energy marketing professional who thrives in the fast-paced world of professional services? A prestigious, national professional services firm is looking for a Marketing & Business Development Officer to join their high-performing Brisbane team.

The Role

Reporting to an experienced Marketing and BD leader, you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end execution of the firm’s marketing strategy. You won't just be "helping out" you will be owning the logistics and delivery of key projects that enhance the firm’s market presence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Event Management: Leading the end-to-end coordination of a diverse range of corporate events, from boutique client seminars to large-scale celebrations.
• Marketing Collateral: Assisting in the creation and distribution of high-quality marketing materials and digital content.
• BD Support: Working closely with Senior Managers to support client pursuit strategies and firm-wide growth initiatives.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Acting as a key point of contact for internal partners and external vendors to ensure seamless project delivery.

About You

This role is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys the "hustle" of event coordination and marketing logistics. You are likely a seasoned Assistant or Administrator looking for that next step up into an Officer-level role.

To be successful, you will bring:

• Experience: A minimum of 2+ years in a Marketing or BD role, ideally within Professional Services.
• Event Prowess: A genuine passion for events. You are someone who loves the detail, manages the "to-do list" with ease, and stays calm when the pressure is on.
• Collaborative Mindset: You understand the importance of working within a structured team. You know when to take the lead and when to escalate, ensuring all stakeholders are kept in the loop.
• Resilience: You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. You are a "team player" in the truest sense
• Education: A degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business is highly regarded but not essential if you have the right experience.
